Twitter Updates for 2009-04-11

  • Amazed at who I am finding on Facebook, which I resisted getting into even after I stopped resisting signing up a while back. #
  • This has kept me up almost an hour past bedtime and we all were ready on time, so here goes and yay for last shift of week tomorrow. #
  • Henry apparently dislikes thunder right over us. Or is uncomfortable enough thathe woke abruptly, sadly, and restlessly. #
  • In all the excitement of first one then other kid being up and her getting home late forgot my badge on day policy stiffened. #
  • So I was 3 min late but we were watching package handler idol in conference room so got clocked in 18 late. #
  • I am sure blood pressure meda have kicked in firmly enough to make me routinely too slow. Not sure what can be done for it. #
  • More sleep would be main thing I guess. #
  • Are You a Nonconformist? – – You Are 86% Non Conformist #blogthings #
  • Once Henry was back asleep, Val woke up, wet, hysterical, wanting mom, who luckily came home just in time. Poor kid. Poor bed. #
  • Today: shower, bank, store, landlord, taxes enough for her to make decisions about finer details, roast chicken, cleaning. #
  • And CotC. I need to work on CotC. which can be done when Henry is on lap sometime, as far as reviewing entries. #
  • Thought it was impressive getting people I worked with back through 1992 on LinkedIn. Facebook it goes back to (yuck!) high school. #
  • @Shurakai I did now. Kind of cool and amusing. #
  • Made executive decision to skip errands, between tight time & store being super busy today. Monday should be better, & she got extra sleep. #
  • makes me think of egg jingle: #
  • “Brown eggs are local eggs, and local eggs are fresh.” Catchy enough I remember it years later. #
  • Kind of hoping she goes with plan A, staying all night with him at his sister’s, as opposed to coming here, or her partway through. #
  • The computer that shuts itself off at random is going to drive me crazy. #
  • I’d better start the chicken, if it’s still good. Figure it takes about 3 hours, crispy. #
  • Chicken in oven. Apparently have choice of kids slamming their bedroom door repeatedly or having them in my room. #
  • Tweet & deletes are no fun if Twitter Tools doesn’t pick them up before I delete them, even if I give it enough time. #
  • I probably shouldn’t refer to Mike as her stepfather when talking to Sadie… #
  • OTOH also should watch what I say talking to self/ranting when annoyed, so she doesn’t blurt out things like “mom takes all your money.” #
  • If my cell gets canceled, there will be changes. #
  • Part 1 was I didn’t buy blades on way home, she was going to be at Walmart anyway, said she’d get them, then excoriated me before leaving. #
  • Part 2 was MRI showed something & got ref to neurosurgeon, wanted out to not be responsible if I were laid up or crippled. #
  • Can’t stay awake. Night after night 2-5 hrs sleep apparently not sufficient. #
  • RT @MelissaTweets Ten Tweets my Vagina would Twitter from @heartlessdoll’s (via @Billyjensen) #
  • Easter should not cancel a night of boinking your boyfriend while your husband is available to babysit for the entire night. #
  • Ended up not doing tax work beyond a few background numbers in Excel. Massive headache, falling asleep, baby needing nap interceded. #
  • Snark aside, I *loved* the fact she’d be gone for the duration. Was sad she’d actually be home first thing in AM. #
  • If I had kids alone 2 days it’d be like a vacation. #
  • Oh well. If I do what our doctor advised, leave ASAP, get work & get custody, it’ll be a real vacation. #
  • Feeling fascinated. But enough of that! Henry wants a bath. Kitchen wants cleaning up. A wife’s work is never done. #
  • Sadie has learned the skill of changing the subject. She wasn’t winning the discussion of whether she should bathe, so she used it. Amusing. #
