Twitter Updates for 2009-04-06

  • Synchro thing with Twitterberry causing tweets to leave profile? #
  • That is exactly what appears to have happened. If it wasn’t downloaded to Blackberry last time I pulled profile there it deleted here. #
  • @robmay always though Deb and I should have gotten an article: http://bit.ly/1aBZ45 (Even if we *were* both bloggers, if one more famed.) #
  • And yeah, it’s cool even though we pick mercilessly on Althouse, and Glenn’s ongoing linkcrush on her. #
  • Tweets seem to be back in profile. whatever the reason. Closed Twitterberry but that made no difference. #
  • Guess I should go to bed. If normal, I’ll be up a few hours in middle of night, then sleeping again before she gets home at 7 AM or so. #
  • @samablog Conway Twitty? Only in make believe tweets. #
  • @robmay We’ll probably get the “when bloggers divorce” article somewhere. #
  • The other thing with telling my mother? Don’t want her to feel guilty that babysitting for us might have averted the situation. #
  • Kids took it upon themselves to arrange it so I’m not sleeping with Henry, and it seems to be working. #
  • @robmay There are some interesting aspects, like comfort level with prior traces of life lived online, inevitably public nature, etc. #
  • FWIW I posted a picture I took with new Blackberry, got to self via e-mail. Still have to install software, see how to get pics directly. #
  • Tweets seem not to be showing in profile again. Twitterberry is not running, unless it went rogue. #
  • And I love having spent $$ for unlimited texting, then Twitter has issues SMS to T-Mobile, and could have used Twitterberry instead anyway. #
  • See, I’ll have to get a girlfriend I text a zillion times a day in addition to the bunch of times I text my wife. #
  • My back itches horribly where the stitches are! Think maybe a steri-strip came off, and that helps reduce it. #
  • Need to go back to bed! 4 hours? Not enough. The maybe 3 hours more I’ll get? Not enough “extra.” #
  • I’d have liked more sleep, but poor Deb got about an hour, got home between time all kids tumbled out of bed and time they’d rousted me out. #
  • Come to think of it, I woke about when they started talking intently, went back to bed just after they stopped and tried to sleep. Freaky. #
  • I should see if kids want to eat. Maybe that’ll occupy them! #
  • Reviewing the updated resume before it goes anywhere. Also have to make an online version. #
  • Save me from the not yet potty trained of the world. #
  • RT @lollydaskal: Nothing great in the world has ever been accomplished without passion. http://budurl.com/686x via @wallybock #
  • Decisions decisions. What e-mail to use for upgrading to Google Voice? Just signed on to Grand Central because forgot my number offhand. #
  • Which is a pretty sorry state of affairs. That goes on the online version of resume. #
  • Whoever designed this Blackberry watched too many old movies featuring cool tech imagined by the nun-technical. It’s so cute! #
  • Sadie has gotten very interested in weather, and what the forecast shows. #
  • Newer resume: http://www.streamalum.com/resumes/marshe/mellisresume.pdf Just notice minor spacing problem before education. Will fix. #
  • A decent list of advice for an 18 year old: http://rightwingnews.com/mt331/2009/04/50_things_every_18yearold_shou.php #
  • #cotc Carnival of the Capitalists for 4/6/09: http://bizosphere.com/?p=165 #
  • Time to check the silly kids, I guess. #
  • Resume spacing problem fixed quick first, so correct ones are at both elhide and streamalum. #
  • That was hectic. #
  • I am the devil for forcibly feeding and smearing Henry with things he’ll react to allergically. #
  • I meet Mike on Wednesday. She’s not sure what she’ll cook us, since she doesn’t cook, we do, and sounds like he’s more willing than good. #
  • I’d love to know what he got into, since I am pretty sure nothing he’d react like that to was available, and good to know if it’s new. #
  • Pure evil, increasingly what I expect of The Clowns That Be: http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2009/04/should-obama-control-internet #
  • @donsurber Ah, no wonder he’s so obsequious. #
  • Must get laundry in! But first taking care of some business. Mmm… money. #
  • Could have sworn there was more than one nearly perfect job listing I wanted to apply to… #
  • Poor kids interrupted me with door slamming in middle of e-mail sending resume. #
  • @phillymac Yay! #
  • Hate my Win2k computer turning itself off when it just happens to hit some graphics processing it can’t handle. Need to try new video card. #
  • @phillymac Yeah, actually sent resume for support/admin in Wareham today, just slightly stale. Thought I’d seen another in Middleboro too. #
  • Oh well. Productive day is over. Feed kids something quick, try to catch dishes up, maybe other cleaning, baths, bed. #
  • Tomorrow will be a big cleaning day. Maybe squeeze in tax work & laptop work. Skip the site and resume types of work, probably. #
  • Kind of let things collapse around me in order to be productive at desk for once. #
  • Deb’s new DVD drive in PC showed crazy pixelated/garbled content after machine was taken offline, moved. Read problem? Not phone home prob? #
  • Spent bath time taking care of business rather than dishes. Now gotta get laundry from dryer, get brats out of tub, see if they’ll chill. #
